Kid can rap. At just 17, it's odd seeing someone the same age doing such different things, Joey is steady growing quite a name for himself. 

A few weeks back I picked up the 1999 mixtape, a collection of tracks signaling back to the 90's and hit making days of NY Hip Hop. In the following weeks Joey has become somewhat of a name in the music circles and finally we have a clip to feast on. In a style true to his age, the clip follows Joey Bada$$ and his group, Progressive Era, around their neighbourhood.

His flow is undeniable whilst his words come in a teenage cheek, and yet deal with things beyond our years:

"I want gold chains and diamond rings, but I just can't live my life like this." "Someday I'm tryna have a wife and kids and I just can't live my life like this."

Definitely one to watch out for.
