So, it's Monday and that means the weekend is over, we've recovered and everyone is back to work, school or ... more holidays.
Saturday night saw Australia's Architecture in Helsinki play in our quaint little town. Hooray! So, we'd seen them a few months earlier at Groovin the Moo. Well, they were better this time. After having a few drinks, rolling out of a cab (and considering dodging the fare, which we obviously ended up paying) we were in. Somehow Ashleigh and I scored spots right at the front, conveniently next to the speaker...which meant no voice and/or hearing and the fact that we could see the set list. Score!
So, they clapped, wailed and sung their way through (and no, we're not just talking about Darby...) the obvious songs, and a few not so obvious ones and finally ended with "Contact High."
One half of us, Darby, scored himself signed tickets (although the legitimacy of the signatures are a bit dodge) and a good feed of curry. I don't think the curry van knew what had hit them.
Well, we woke up the next morning with dirty shoes, spare change in our pockets and a sore throat. The other half feed the film in the wrong way and well, the pictures are let's just say...non-existant. But here are some (crappy) photo's:
